During a recent webinar in collaboration with blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis , SEC Director-General Dr. Emomotimi Agama emphasized the critical need for a joint effort between regulators and private companies. The event, titled "Combating Scams with Blockchain Intelligence," focused on the importance of data sharing and advanced blockchain analytics to effectively track and disrupt fraudulent schemes. The discussion also highlighted how enhanced regulatory oversight and financial intelligence can play a crucial role in safeguarding the public from financial scams in the increasingly popular cryptocurrency market.
