The South African Federation of Trade Unions Saftu General Secretary, Zwelinzima Vavi, has called on the South African Police Service SAPS and the Special Investigating Unit SIU to ensure that the mastermind behind the murdered whistleblower, Babita Deokaran, face the full might of the law.
Today marks four years since Deokaran was assassinated after she halted R850 million in suspicious payments to hundreds of companies linked to Tembisa Hospital.
Vavi was addressing family and friends of Deokaran gathered at the housing complex where she lived in Winchester Hills in Johannesburg.
