The Mangaung Metro Municipality in Bloemfontein says the repair work on Uitkyk-DeHoek pipeline has been completed.
Mangaung Metro Spokesperson Qondile Khedama says re-filling of the 130-kilometre-long pipeline has commenced.
Khedama says most areas will start to get water in the evening although total restoration will take time due to demand.
