Santam Insurance has successfully completed a major cloud transformation project involving the adoption of Guidewire InsuranceSuite, marking a significant milestone in the modernization of its core insurance systems.
According to Technical Architect Rob Forsyth, who contributed to the programme, the project involved migrating a complex on-premise environment to the cloud while ensuring system stability, performance, and operational continuity. The transition is part of Santam's broader strategy to modernize its technology stack and improve efficiency across its insurance operations.
The implementation required close collaboration between business and technology teams, as well as detailed architectural planning and disciplined execution. Forsyth noted that the project demanded coordinated efforts across multiple stakeholders to successfully deliver the large-scale transformation.
