The South African National Parks SANParks has launched an investigation into a fire at the Island Lake in the Wilderness Section of the Garden Route National Park.
Spokesperson JP Louw says a privately owned boat belonging to a guest caught fire on the water before launch on Monday.
One person was injured and taken to hospital.
