The South African Human Rights Commission SAHRC is expected to launch its annual State of Schools Report on Wednesday in Johannesburg.
The 2025 report is said to highlight systemic challenges that prevent the enjoyment of the right to basic education.
SAHRC spokesperson Wisani Baloyi says the report also contains analysis and recommendations.
