Transport Minister Barbara Creecy has announced that South Africa and Mozambique are planning to establish a one-stop truck control zone in each country to reduce congestion at the borders.

Creecy announced talks with her Mozambican counterpart, Joao Matlombe, at the Lebombo border post.

Minister Creecy says plans are under way to establish a temporary one-stop processing facility at the Kilometre-seven truck stop.
