The popular CottonFest has come to an end following differences and disputes among shareholders, organisers announced on Tuesday 9 December.
The South African youth culture festival was founded by late rapper Riky Rick in 2019. It celebrated music, fashion and art and was set for its 2026 edition following an announcement earlier this year.
CottonFest endsHowever, Tuesdays statement by organisers signalled the end of the festival. After careful internal review and consideration, it has become clear that the shareholders no longer share the same long-term vision, they said.
