Beyond has shared a rare daytime sighting from Beyond Suyian in Kenyas Suyian Conservancy, capturing a female melanistic leopard interacting with a spotted male.
The video shows the female attempting to draw the males attention while he appears more focused on resting. Beyond described it as a privileged glimpse of the enchanting dance between a female melanistic leopard and a sleepy, spotted male. Truly remarkable, made even more special during the daytime.
Melanistic leopards are seldom seen and footage of them alongside a spotted companion in broad daylight is an exceptional occurrence.
