President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged South Africas Traditional Kings and Queens to use the trust and moral authority they command to speak out against intolerance and instability.
The President was addressing the monarchs at a meeting ahead of next weeks planned 30 June protests against undocumented foreign nationals.
Ramaphosa said the traditional leaders can use their standing to calm tensions, resolve disputes through dialogue and prevent communities from being mobilised for violence and disorder.
