The High Court in Pretoria has dismissed, with costs, President Cyril Ramaphosa and the Governments bid to halt the constitutional damages case against them.
The case seeks to hold government accountable for its conduct in obstructing the investigation and/or prosecution of apartheid-era cases referred by the TRC to the NPA.
Ramaphosa and the State sought a stay of the matter brought by the families and survivors of apartheid-era human rights violations, pending the outcome of the TRC Cases Inquiry.
