An inter-departmental provincial leadership delegation is travelling across parts of the Western Cape to assess damages from the recent storms.
The group, led by Premier Alan Winde, will assess damages in Malmesbury, Ceres and the greater Cederberg region.
Western Cape Finance Minister, Deidre Baartman, says the financing of disasters should be prioritised across all spheres of government.
