The South African Womens cricket team has dealt an early blow to New Zealand in their second-round ICC World Cup match against South Africa in Indore, India.
Opener Suzie Bates was trapped leg before wicket by Proteas all-rounder, Marizanne Kapp, with the first delivery of the match.
Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first as both teams tried to secure their first win at this years tournament.
