President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed new board members to the National Youth Development Agency NYDA, in line with Section 91a of the NYDA Act of 2008.
Their three-year term will begin on August 1, 2025.
Established through an Act of Parliament, the NYDA focuses on tackling challenges facing South Africa's youth. The Agency functions as a single, unitary structure addressing youth development issues at the national, provincial and local government levels.
The President has appointed the following board members:
Ms Kelly Sandra Baloyi Ms Thembisile Precious Mahuwa Mr Bonga Siphesihle Makhanya Mr Sibusiso Makhathini Dr Wiseman Mfaniseni Mbatha Dr Sunshine Minenhle Myende and Mx Busisiwe Nandipha Nxumalo.
