Mauritius is currently the most popular beach add-on for safari travellers, according to last weeks Tourism Update poll.
Asked which beach destination is currently the most popular safari add-on, 31 of respondents selected Mauritius, 23 Zanzibar and 16 South Africa. Mozambique attracted 15 of the vote while the Kenyan coast received 6, Seychelles 4, Madagascar 3 and other 2.
Parliament has once again turned its attention to dual pricing at South African tourism attractions, reigniting debate about international visitors paying more than locals.
