KwaZulu-Natal police say they are preparing two dockets for referral to the Provincial Director of Public Prosecutions and the Magistrates Commission.
This is regarding the reasons for entering into a plea agreement for a lesser sentence for controversial businessman Stuart Scharnick.
Addressing the media in Durban on Thursday afternoon, Acting Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Crime Detection Anthony Gopaul says Scharnick was involved in cases, which include carjackings and motor vehicle theft.
