Police in Cape Town are probing a shooting incident that claimed the lives of three young people and injured one person in Samora Machel on the Cape Flats .
Police spokesperson Andre Traut says the victims were seated in a vehicle when unknown suspects opened fire at them.
He says the victims, aged between 16 and 21, were declared dead on the scene.
