Gauteng Police have confirmed that another man has been arrested for alleged involvement in the assasination of Warrick DJ Warras Stock.
Brigadier Brenda Muridili has confirmed the arrest happened late last night but said she is awaiting a report. SABC understands it might be the alleged shooter, but we cannot confirm this, as police say they are waiting for the full details.
The 25-year-old suspect, a Mozambican national, was arrested in Marathon informal settlement in Primrose around 20:00 on 30 January 2026. The operation was conducted by PIU, together with Crime Intelligence and Ekurhuleni Metro Police. The suspect will appear before court on Monday, 2 February 2026 facing charges of murder and contravention of the Immigration Act.
