The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has announced an increase in the price of fuel with effect from Wednesday , 1 April.
Both grades of petrol will go up by R3,06 per litre, while both grades of diesel will shoot up by between R7,37 and R7,51 per litre.
Illuminating paraffin sees the highest increase on record of R11,67 per litre .
