The National Assembly has approved a second extension of the deadline for the Ad Hoc Committee to the 20th of February next year.
The Ad Hoc Committee was established in September, to look into concerns of national security.
This followed allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system made by KwaZulu-Natal top cop Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi in July.
