Parallel, founded by ex-Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, has secured 100 million to build a new kind of web infrastructure. The system is not for people. It is for artificial intelligence.
The companys focus is simple. It wants to give AI agents direct access to live web data. Parallel believes this will shape how future systems search, read, and understand online content.
The Series A round was co-led by Kleiner Perkins and Index Ventures. Khosla Ventures and other existing investors also joined. The funding values Parallel at 740 million, according to reports.
