The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania PAC has welcomed Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayis approval of an inquest into the deaths of five children killed by the apartheid army in 1993.
The children, aged between 12 and 17, were gunned down at the Mthatha home of PAC activist Sigqibo Mpendulo.
They were preparing for their final exams when soldiers stormed the house and opened fire. The South African Defence Force later issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack.
