Oromia Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding with Visa Incorporated, marking the start of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening international and digital payment services for customers in Ethiopia.
The agreement was signed by Obo Teferi Mekonne, Chief Executive Officer of Oromia Bank, and Obo Jared, Visa Incorporated's East Africa Zone and Ethiopian Operations Manager.
Commenting on the partnership, Obo Teferi Mekonne said the collaboration will support Oromia Bank's plans to expand modern, convenient, and streamlined international payment card services, enhancing customer access to global payment solutions.
