Orange Cote dIvoire has unveiled Orange Sat, a satellite internet solution designed to extend reliable and high-performance connectivity across the country, including remote and underserved areas beyond the reach of existing 4G and fibre networks.
The launch marks a significant step in Orange Cote dIvoire's digital inclusion strategy, addressing connectivity gaps in rural and hard-to-access regions often referred to as "white areas." By leveraging satellite technology, Orange Sat enables households, businesses and public institutions in these locations to access stable internet services regardless of geographic constraints.
Orange Sat is the result of a strategic partnership with Eutelsat and complements the operator's existing portfolio of fibre and mobile broadband services. The addition of satellite connectivity allows Orange Cote dIvoire to better respond to the country's diverse geographical and economic realities while strengthening its nationwide network coverage.
