Anti-immigrant group, Operation Dudula, is expected to hold what it calls a peaceful protest on Nasrec road, in the south of Johannesburg, on Saturday.
The group says the protest aims to reinforce their stance that South Africans should be prioritised before foreign nationals. Operation Dudula believes that the G20 Leaders Summit at Nasrec will be in vain if South Africans continue to live in poverty and remain unemployed.
Earlier in the week, the Deputy National Commissioner Tebello Mosikili announced that planned protest actions will be allowed to go ahead, however, they will not allow any disruptions of the leaders summit.
