OpenText, a global leader in secure information management and one of Canada's foremost technology companies, has officially opened its Middle East regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This strategic expansion underscores OpenText's long-term commitment to the Kingdom and the region's rapidly growing digital economy.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Canada's Minister of International Trade and Economic Development, Hon. Maninder Sidhu, and His Excellency Jean-Philippe Linteau, Canada's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Minister Sidhu highlighted the significance of the expansion, noting that OpenText's presence reflects the growing commercial and technological ties between Canada and Saudi Arabia, while supporting the Kingdom's ambitions for digital transformation and enterprise AI adoption.

Located in the King Abdullah Financial District KAFD, the Riyadh headquarters will serve as a central hub for OpenText's customers and partners across the Middle East. The office aims to facilitate closer collaboration with both government and private sector organizations as they move from AI experimentation to secure, enterprise-scale deployment. Muhi Majzoub, EVP Cybersecurity at OpenText, emphasized that the company's local presence will allow organizations to turn trusted data into actionable intelligence, fostering innovation, resilience, and long-term growth.
