An off-duty soldier has been shot and killed in Delft South on the Cape Flats.
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says the 37-year-old man was shot multiple times and declared dead at the scene.
Twigg says the soldier was not part of Operation Prosper - a year-long joint security initiative by the South African National Defence Force SANDF and the South African Police Service SAPS at the time of the incident.
