A 37-year-old South African National Defence Force SANDF member was shot and killed in Delft South on Wednesday night, police have confirmed.
According to police, officers from Delft responded to a complaint of a shooting at approximately 10:20pm on 8 April 2026 in Kokaboom Street, where they found the man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel, police said.
