The N1 has been opened for traffic following its closure due to two trucks that had crashed on the stretch of the road between Louis Trichardt and Williespoort turn-off in Limpopo on Wednesday.
Transport department says no fatalities have been reported in both separate incidents.
Department spokesperson Mashudu Mabata says one of the trucks had jack-knifed and closed the road completely.
