Nu Quantum has raised 60 million in fresh Series A funding. It is a record-breaking milestone for a pure-play quantum networking company. It is also the largest quantum Series A completed in the United Kingdom.
National Grid Partners led the oversubscribed round. Gresham House Ventures and Morpheus Ventures also joined the raise. Existing backers returned, including Amadeus Capital Partners, IQ Capital, Ahren Capital and several strategic partners. Their participation shows clear confidence in the companys approach.
The company plans to use the capital to advance its Entanglement Fabric. It wants to create the worlds first scalable distributed quantum computing network. Its goal is to move closer to fault tolerance. The company believes this step will unlock a projected 1 trillion quantum computing market.
