Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, says Nasarawa United deserved to beat his team in Wednesdays matchday 26 encounter.
The Sky Blue Stars fell 1-0 to their hosts at the Lafia City Stadium.
Ogunmodedes side were favourites to win the contest but were subdued by the home team, who put a resolute display.
The young tactician said his players gave their best but it wasnt enough on the day.
We did our best in the game today, but the outcome wasnt good enough for us, Ogunmodede said in his post match reaction.
