Kwara United have dismissed claims they abandoned their former player Anthony Anioke during his injury layoff.
Chairman of the club, Kumbi Titiloye, stated that the player refused to undergo treatment from the club's medical team.
Titiloye added that they paid Anioke's salary for four months while he was injured.
