Ikorodu City have strengthened their defence with the signing of King Light, DAILY POST reports.

Light signed a two-year contract with the Oga Boys.

He was recruited from non-league side Impact FC.

Light brings physical strength, positional awareness, and game-reading ability to the Oga Boys.

He is also expected to increase competition for places and potentially raising overall squad performance.

This move is part of Ikorodu Citys strategy to bolster their squad ahead of a demanding run of fixtures in the second stanza.

Ikorodu City will do battle El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri on Sunday.
