The Nkabinde Inquiry says the Justice Department has not yet responded to National Director of Public Prosecutions Advocate Shamila Batohis application for the amendment of the inquirys terms of reference.
She made a similar application to the inquiry whose panel has since rejected it. The inquiry will continue to investigate suspended South Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions advocate Andrew Chaukes fitness to hold office.
Advocate Batohi abandoned the proceedings after the inquirys panel reprimanded her for speaking to a potential witness.
