The National Information Technology Development Agency NITDA has commended Google, Microsoft, and TikTok for their continued compliance with the Code of Practice for Interactive Computer Service Platforms/Internet Intermediaries and the submission of their 2024 compliance reports.
The Code of Practice, jointly issued by NITDA, the Nigerian Communications Commission NCC, and the National Broadcasting Commission NBC, sets out clear guidelines for promoting online safety and managing harmful content on digital platforms.
