The Durban Car Terminal received and serviced the new-gerenation MV Ocean Breeze on her maiden voyage, successfully offloading 568 vehicles and loading another 1 012 during her call at the terminals Q R berths this week.
Commanded by captain Azzi Hanaa and supported by a 21-member crew, the Ocean Breeze arrived from Shanghai and will continue her voyage to Antwerp.
To commemorate the vessels maiden voyage, the Durban Car Terminal staff presented captain Hanaa with a commemorative plaque, in a long-standing maritime tradition that represents goodwill, safe passage and the start of a strong relationship between vessels and terminals.
