Nick Woltemade enjoyed a special debut for Newcastle United as he gave the Magpies their first win of the season by scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Wolves, Softfootball reports.
The German international did enough in 65 minutes that he was involved to assure home fans hope they have found a suitable successor to Alexander Isak who left on transfer deadline day to Liverpool.
The 23-year-old demonstrated his tidy link-up play, completing 89 of his passes, and used his 6ft 6in frame to good effect, winning three of his four aerial duels.
