Orlando Pirates have won a record fourth MTN8 trophy in a row after overcoming a stubborn Stellenbosch FC 3-0.

The two teams played out an exciting and evenly matched 0-0 draw in regular time, forcing extra time at Mpumalangas Mbombela Stadium on Saturday 13 September.

Bucs coach Abdeslam Ouaddou started with Thabiso Lebitso, Lebone Seema, Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Deon Hotto at the back Sihle Nduli, Sipho Mbule and Thalenthe Mbatha in the midfield and Kamogelo Sebelebele right wing, Evidence Makgopa and Relebohile Mofokeng upfront. Sipho Chaine was the goalkeeper.
