Newcastle United have reached an agreement to sign Aston Villas Jacob Ramsey, a deal worth around 40 million. Softfootball had earlier reported that the deal for the midfielder was edging towards completion.
The 24 year old has agreed on personal terms with Newcastle United and is set to travel for medicals, a step before the deal is completed.
