Kaelo Destinations has launched as a new travel collection uniting conservation-led destinations under a single brand. The portfolio launches with two properties: Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana and Pambele Beach House in Mozambique.
The name Kaelo means to guide, guard and nurture in Setswana, reflecting the brands focus on stewardship, conservation and low-impact travel.
Mashatu Game Reserve and Pambele Beach House are part of the first phase of Kaelos expanding portfolio, offering a safari-and-beach pairing across two distinct landscapes. Mashatu Game Reserve is a large private reserve in Botswana offering safari activities including walking and cycling safaris and photographic hides. Pambele Beach House is located in Mozambiques Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary, overlooking the Bazaruto Archipelago, and offers a small-scale coastal experience with access to marine and land-based activities.
