Streaming giant Netflix will acquire Warner Bros. Discovery's film and television studio and HBO streaming business in a cash and stock transaction valued at about 82.7 to 83 billion, reports Cape town Etc .
The companies said in a joint statement on 5 December 2025.
Netflix said the deal will bring its subscribers access to an expanded catalogue, while preserving Warner Bros.' theatrical release commitments, the firm added.
