NEC Corporation has announced the signing of a Technology Partner Program Agreement with Siemens Industry Software Inc. Siemens to expand global solutions in the field of 3D robot simulations. The partnership aims to combine both companies' technological strengths, accelerate the international deployment of advanced automation solutions, and enhance resources to support the continued growth of customers worldwide.
NEC has developed a digital twin solution that leverages advanced technologies to help manufacturing customers optimize worksite operations, improve productivity, and transition to data-driven management. This offering is part of NEC's value creation model, "BluStellar." Siemens, a global leader in industrial software and digital transformation, provides an extensive suite of solutions that enable manufacturers to realize digital enterprises and generate value rapidly across their operations.
Under the new agreement, NEC and Siemens will jointly develop a robot teaching automation solution that integrates NEC's "Robot Task Planning" digital twin service with Siemens' "Process Simulate" software for 3D robot simulations. Together, the two companies plan to accelerate global adoption through coordinated marketing efforts, including joint seminars, exhibitions, and expanded sales channels.
