Namibia has officially launched the Namibia Convention Bureau NCB, a central coordinating body to promote the country as a globally competitive destination for MICE. The NCB sits under the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board NIPDB.
This will become Namibias official point of contact for event organisers bringing international MICE sector engagements to the country.
The initiative also aligns with Namibias Tourism Sector Recovery Plan 2022-2024, the National Spatial Tourism Master Plan 2025-2035 and the governments objective to create 500 000 jobs across the economy.
