An unknown suspect, believed to be a man, grabbed and pulled out an officers firearm and began firing intermittent shots in front of him near Cape Town High Court on Wednesday afternoon, reports Cape town Etc .
Video footage of the naked individual standing on the opposite side of the High Court road began circulating across social media platforms shortly after. He would open fire each time the two police officers attempted to approach him.
As seen in the video, the volatile situation was diffused when the two officers managed to disarm the individual, empty the firearms magazine and apprehend the suspect.
