Munich Airport MUC has announced plans to unveil its new airport terminal on April 13. It will welcome passengers from April 21.
Terminal 1 Pier, which covers 95 000sqm, will have capacity for up to six million passengers per year and can handle either 12 short- and medium-haul aircraft or six wide-body aircraft.
Jost Lammers , CEO of MUC, said in a media statement, The pier not only strengthens our capacities, but also sets new standards in quality, efficiency, and passenger comfort especially for non-Schengen traffic. The pier is a central element of our long-term infrastructure strategy.
