MTN Group has announced the appointment of Amitha Chetty as Executive: Legal, effective 1 May 2026.
Amitha brings extensive legal, regulatory and commercial expertise gained across complex and regulated and multinational business environments. She is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and holds a Master of Laws LLM degree in Corporate Law.
She has held several senior leadership roles in the banking and financial services sectors, where she played a key role in shaping international strategy, leading multi-jurisdictional regulatory and tax due diligence processes, and advising Boards and executive leadership on complex cross-border matters.
