Gauteng Traffic Police are urging motorists to stay alert and drive safely ahead of the National Prayer Day at FNB Stadium on Sunday.

Heavy traffic is expected on major routes, including the N1 and all roads around the stadium. Motorists are encouraged to keep to the speed limit - especially when it's raining and maintain a safe following distance.

More than a 120 000 people from all walks of life, and several faith-based and religious organisations, are expected to unite in prayer on Sunday.
