Morocco set a new record at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, claiming the biggest victory in tournament history with a 16-0 thumping of New Caledonia on Sunday.
Scoring their first goal in the third minute and their last in the 90th, Morocco had 10 different scorers in the match. U-17 Africa Cup of Nations AFCON Player of the Tournament Abdellah Ouazane, Oualid Ibn Salah, Abdelali Eddaoudi, Ziyad Baha, Nahel Haddani and Ismail El Aoud each netted braces.
Bilal Soukrat, Ilyas Hidaoui and Zakari El Khalfioui netted one goal each and Steevy Andrew netted an own goal.
