CAF officials are said to be highly satisfied with Moroccos organization of the 2025 AFCON, which concludes on Sunday, January 18, 2026. The tournament has earned praise for its modern infrastructure, smooth logistics, strong security arrangements, and vibrant fan engagement, reinforcing Moroccos reputation as one of Africas most dependable hosts.
The countrys growing influence in global football further strengthens its position. Morocco is set to co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal, underlining the quality of its stadiums, transport networks, and overall readiness to stage major international competitions.
Commercial considerations have also played a key role in CAFs confidence.
