Morocco will have the chance to win the African Nations Championship CHAN for a record third time after they defeated Senegal 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the second semifinal, played at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala on Tuesday evening.
The Atlas Lions champions in the 2018 and 2020 editions of the continental competition will be favourites to defeat Madagascar in the final at the Moi International Sport Centre in Nairobi on the evening of Saturday 30 August.
The match quickly settled into a pattern of Morocco enjoying more of the ball, while Senegal looked dangerous from counter attacks and set pieces.
